For many recovering from the Eaton and Palisades fires, the holidays can stir up a wide mix of emotions. You deserve a space where you feel understood and supported as we head into the season.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness in the San Gabriel Valley and the Trauma Resource Institute, in partnership with the Eaton Fire Survivors Network, are hosting a wellness gathering created especially for survivors, families, and neighbors.
Our session will be led by Elaine Miller-Karas, Co-Founder of the Trauma Resource Institute and one of the world’s leading experts on trauma recovery. Elaine has helped communities heal in places ranging from Ukraine to New Orleans, and we are fortunate to have her guiding us.
You’ll learn simple, practical wellness tools and connect with people who know what you’ve been carrying. Breakout rooms will be led by professionals from NAMI SGV, the Trauma Resource Institute, AlterCareLine, Go Stars, Vintage Church Pasadena, and Clarissa Ramsey Studio.
All are welcome. Please invite friends, neighbors, and fellow Eaton and Palisades survivors.
